Guest guest
Hi all, For those on Kineret I wanted to pass on some info I got from my doctor at my appointment yesterday. This is my second time being put on Kineret and a month in I told her I wasn't getting much relief from it, but that I expected that since the last time I was on it it took 3 full months to start helping. She then told me about ciclosporin. It's a drug that's been around since the 70's mostly used for transplant patients as an anti rejection drug. She says new studies have found adding ciclosporin with patients already taking Kineret has dramatically increased relief in patients with Stills. She says it works in hours, not months or even weeks. I will begin taking it tomorrow and hope very much that she's right! Not sure if you all have heard of this combo but I thought I'd share. Hugs!
