Hi Patty,

Hey!! It's my Second day too! First time on a juice fast though... thanks for the advice. It makes sense about the sauna... it probably is good while fasting if you're careful... just wanted to check. Thanks Patty.

Hugs..Dawn

I am fasting right now--water only--and planned on using my sauna this evening. (It is my second day of fasting). I believe that the sauna will help our bodies continue the detoxing in a deeper way. I have fasted and used my infrared sauna in the past with no problems. I think you just need to make sure you don't have the heat too high, or don't stay in too long. Pay attention to how you feel through the sauna, and get out when you feel you've had enough. I know I've stayed in too long before, and actually felt weak and overheated from it afterwards. Otherwise, the heat really helps, as the metabolic rate slows down during a fast, and I tend toward getting chilled. I find the sauna very soothing. As for

the candida and carrot juice, I would say to be on the safe side to cut back on the carrots, but not necessarily cut them out completely. They do have alot of good nutrients. But you are right, they do have alot of natural sugars in them too, so you don't want to be juicing them alone all the time. I used to do that early in my juicing days, (carrot and apple were my favorite, just like Jay "the Juiceman" Kordich, who cured his cancer using juices), but I was unaware of the need to be judicious in their use. I probably didn't help any candida situation I might have had, as I drank lots of carrot juice. It sounds like you are using your head about it, and that is good!Keep up the great work! You've had a great recovery so far! I am really happy for you!Hugs,Patty> > Does anyone know if it is okay
