Iva Hi Iva, This is from the " Budwig Protean Cookbook " --!.- put 1/2 cup { 125 ccm } flax seed oil in the freezer for 1/2 hour. 2.- Cut 1 medium sized onion in half & brown slightly in 1 cup {250g } of heated 200 degrees F. { 100 D. Keep the Oleolox in the fridg. { I usually cut the onions up first. I also chop the garlic cloves before I add them.. If you save the onions & garlic when you are through --they make a great addition to all sorts of things--even just for a sandwich...} {{ We have found that it takes just about 1/2 hour to make so when we finish the cooking part the flax seed oil will have been in the freezer for the needed 1/2 hour }} An added note from the cookbook-- " As a rule --flax seed oil & oleolox should never be heated.. But you can heat for not more than one min if you add sulfhydryl group of spices like Pepper. It will harden in the fridg.
