Laurel, You continue to point out good observations of women on the

WP in general. Clearly there are layers and this 'experiment' we

are all on must be watched, recorded and observed so carefully and

at times endlessly it seems. My bathroom looks like a research

center right now, with clipboards, timelines etc. It has helped me

to follow the progress of this odyssey as objectively as possible.

In this last post, you discuss E only therapies. Val posted an

article today about that and I am thinking more on it. Also, the

auto-immune phenomena (a true personalized nightmare, IMO) is

sooootricky to uncover. I venture to say that we can/do become

allergic to ourselves and that we can turn certain even good

chemicals (natural and manmade) into 'other' molecules. I think I've

done this myself (i.e like turning progesterone into testosterone).

Our bodies don't always 'read' the chemical formulas the same way.

When I have gotten into these quandries with myself, what I try to

do is eliminate EVERYTHING I can for as long as I can to determine a

base line for myself. STOP everything and see how I feel after a

month. That's what I'm doing right now w/the HP. I have seen

things clear up that had developed on top of my own best efforts, so

the elimination process is important to me. Then I slowly add back

based on the priorities of most important health issues. I know

this is hard cuz we all often have so many troublesome symptoms

going on at once.

I write this as a reminder to myself and others who may have so many

experiments in place and adding layers of confusing substances.

KISS is a favorite expression of mine (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

I am going to contine researching the NO Progesterone therapies and

of course on the hunt for the best estrogen to use. Thank you

Laurel for such a long committment to helping us all, ElleBlue
