Hi, thyroid hashis does not run in my family but hypo thyroid does, my

Mom (who has never had any surgery) had thyroid hypo since her 20s and

has been on synthroid only since that time. My sister never developed

thyroid (no implants), and I was perfect until I was 57, 3 yrs ago and

3 yrs after I was implanted. Of course it can't be proven but I can

almost bet that it was due to implants. On another note, I would like

to know if you implant first time with saline, is this still as bad or

worse than silicone, and why? I and I suppose everyone thought saline

is safer, and Dr. M said the saline just goes out with the urine, but

that the bags with their contact with the tissues can cause negative

effects......My surgery is on the 6th, do you know where you are

staying yet? I haven't made reservations, and I haven't even paid the

surgery yet...have you?
