Hi everyone,

First of all I went to whole foods today and I bought Fungal and

Primal defense, Primal by Garden of Life and another brand of fungal

defense that was cheaper but had the same ingredients. I forget how

long you all told me to stay on the fungal and primal, I know one was

for 1 month and one was for a few months, so if someone could refresh

my memory I'd really appreciate it so I don't have to go searching

through old messages to find that. Also, I am scheduled for explant

on this Monday and I'm happy to say I'm not really nervous at all but

more excited. I have a weird headache right now as I talk to you all

and I can't wait to feel better and I know I will! I was thinking

though, when i was on birth control pills my boobs got HUGE and I'm no

longer on it because I didn't want to look ridiculous like I did.

Well now that I'm getting explanted do you think it would be a bad

idea to start the pill about 2 weeks after to help the fluffing

process of my newly reduced breasts? If anyone has been on the pill

when explanted and can tell me if there were any adverse effects

please let me know.

Hi lo. I am glad that you are not fearful of your upcoming

surgery. I think it is really helpful to feel positive and upbeat!

I wanted to point out that it is much cheaper to buy Garden of Life

products online. I have been using appleadayandbeyond.com for at

least 2 years and found them to be the cheapest--including free

shipping on orders over $50. You can buy primal defense for under

$30.00 there.

As far as the birth control pills, in my opinion it is not a good

idea. Why add hormones, which affect so many things, inthe mix? I

am really against most pharmaceutical drugs anyway, as most have

endless side effects. Unless you really need birth control pills

for birth control or hormone problems, why take them when they raise

your risk of blood clots, high blood pressure, etc? As we have

discussed on this site, since hormones affect so much, including the

immune system, it would be better to know the effect of the explant

upon your illness before adding in other factors. Just my opinion.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery and I will praying for good

results for you!

love, kathy
