Well, I'm confused if Gillespie said estriol is the most carcinogenic

because in the recent PowerSurge interview, she advises one woman who

had cancer to take " estriol, the non-cancer related form of

estradiol. " I did find that estriol gave me breast pain. I took

Triest for 10 years, but when I needed more estrogen, I couldn't

increase due to breast pain. So when I switched to Oestrogel (plain

estradiol) in May, I was able to increase to the level I needed

without breast pain. I also had heavy bleeding on Tri-est, but none

so far on Oestrogel, so I am not so sure that estriol is not

endometrium-stimulating as well.

I am sure I read somewhere that you need to use progesterone for at

least 12 days to protect the endometrium lining from hyperplasia, so

I would suspect that your hyperplasia was due to only using it for 5

days at a time. I would never have suffered through 12 days of P if I

had thought that I could get by with only 5! Who told you that 5

days was enough, and how long did you do this before you got

hyperplasia? What was your treatment for the hyperplasia? ----Rosette
