Hi catherine - when you have a spare minute Id be really grateful for

your view on the following.

(By the way - thankyou for the advice on the bach remedies. Was able

to get Aspen but not been able to get hold of Star of Bethlehem yet -

will keep trying.)

* I am quite concerned about some advice Ive had from an SSRI charity

who have been very supportive to me. (Im currently taking 10mg

prozac liquid plus 1 1/2mg of valium today. 4 1/2 months since

switch from seroxat).

Because if anything I am finding the withdrawal from prozac as

difficult as it was from seroxat - they have suggested that I start

taking St s Wort and then slowly withdraw the Prozac.

((Why did I EVER switch????- just given myself more problems.....)

I have certainly considered St s Wort as a possibility once (IF!)

I am completely off SSRI's but would obviously want to look into it a

great deal before starting it.

I just dont think its a good idea to take St s Wort at the same

time as the prozac (in fact I think I might have read somewhere that

you should wait a couple of weeks off SSRI's before starting St s

Wort)?????? Id really appreciate your views on this and St s

Wort in general.

* Re. Fish Oils - (again this is something Im considering for AFTER

ssri's - at moment just taking a multi vitamin and mineral).

I have read a great deal of positive material re. fish oils and

depression but a while ago someone posted on an American site that

they thought that fish oils could make anxiety conditions worse.

This person had no medical knowledge and had just read it 'somewhere'-

but just wondered if it was a problem you had heard of?

Thanks again for all your advice.

Sallyx
