Guest guest
Saralou I looked into the Clorets gum and asked an ebay vendor for the ingredients. I think I will pass on the gum. Here is what she sent me. Hi! Here is a list of the ingredients for you: Safety Information Phenylketonurics: contains Phenylalanine. Ingredients Sugar, Gum Base, Glucose Syrup, Artificial and Natural Flavoring (Actizol), Modified Food Starch, Aspartame, Candelilla Wax, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Partially Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil (Actizol) and Water Soluble Chlorophyll (Actizol). I was only taking one 60 mg capsule of chlorophyll with my dose of DMSO, so I will increase that to two. Mine aren't gels, tho. I wonder if gels are used in the body better. Lyn ----- Original Message ----- I searched the list and here's one of the messages referring to diminished odor. Will forward if I see others. If the Yahoolist links at the bottom work you might be able to view the entire thread online. Saralou
Guest guest
Just reporting, not endorsing. In fact, I can't chew gum. But it it could have been an option it's good you checked it out. I'd take what's on hand in larger and larger doses to see if it would work. Maybe. Chlorella and spirulina are both deep green. even barleygreen is...indicating lot's of chlorophyl. Wonder if they'd do anything. I suspect essential oils will help. I know Garnet uses theexternally. Chlorophyl liquid is what I have. I've not eaten enough parsley to see if it will affect odor. The Urea does the job for me anyway. Saralou > > Saralou > > I looked into the Clorets gum and asked an ebay vendor for the > ingredients. I think I will pass on the gum. Guest guest
How about long lasting Altoids peppermints ? They come in melt in your mouth tablets and hardcoated gum. If you're a Costco member, you can buy a box of tins that will likely last you over a year. Ditto, Mentos. Now that I am using spirulina, I also had the dim light bulb moment of wondering if that would work, too. I've taken the back seat in life bcuz of the smell issue. So I don't know if I smell or not, but I continue to notice the taste in the back of my throat if I take that one extra dropper full. (I can take two droppers, which is 1/4 tsp.) So I will just experiment with these new green ideas along with trying to increase my dose and see if I can't find what will keep that taste knocked down. That is all I can go by. >I suspect essential oils will help. I know Garnet uses the externally. >Chlorophyl liquid is what I have. After my capsules are used up, I want to try the liquid myself. Guest guest
If the less and more stinky versions have the same percents, I don't see how the stinkier would be superior quality. With the stinkier, you need to factor in the extra breath freshener. That could make it pricier than buying the less stinkier at twice the price. Guest guest
Wahoo, BC, you make me dizzy, working at deciphering your words, but I do get your point. I am a lucky man, some nice fellow in california bought a case of dmso from Jeffers, he tried it, but did not like, so he sent to me, wahoo, I am stuck with stinky dmso for awhile, there must be two gallons, and I try not to be wasteful, so it will be used, especially since it was a gift. Now as BC points out, I need to buy a hundred dollars worth of stink remover. I have ordered the chlorophyl and gum. where will it end? Guest guest
, I find that when I " clean " dmso it reduces the odor. Does NOT eliminate the odor but does reduce it. DMSO freezes at 67ºF so I pour it in a 2 cup glass measuring cup, cover it (so it doesn't attract the humidity) and put in the fridge a couple of hours. IF there's any liquid, I pour it off. Then I rinse the ice block with some EISilver , cover it again and let it sit on the counter until it melts and I can pour it back in the bottle. And I mark the bottle. Guest guest
I have heard that either aspartame or HFCS are used now to sweeten all chewing gum in America. Good reason to stay away from it. Sugar was bad enough, but this stuff!? Gerry > > Saralou > > I looked into the Clorets gum and asked an ebay vendor for the > ingredients. Guest guest
That is very interesting and informative, Saralou, I take 220mgs of iodine, lugols daily, so very cold tolerant, I keep my house comfortable for me, and my dmso turns solid. Not a problem, now I know, thanks so much, have a great day, david lubbock tx. Guest guest
I bought mine from horse tack for less than $30 a gallon. It is also 99.9% and has strong smell.
Guest guest
Thanks for the directions to " cleaning " DMSO. I'm going to give that a try because I have a shoulder that's acting up but I'm highly sensitive to the taste and odor. In the meantime, I recommend as I have before on this list that people try parsley oil capsules. Formerly Breath-Assure, the brand is now Mint-Assure because the company had a lawsuit from claiming it cured bad breath and they had to add a peppermint coating. I often wash that off because the active ingredient is the parsley oil. I'm hypersensitive to onions and garlic so when I accidentally eat them I start taking the parsley caps every hour or two. They help metabolize the sulfur out of your system much faster. When others are taking it after eating onions or garlic, I can smell the sulfur leaving their body odor and breath. You start tasting parsley and it come out the breath instead of the other scent. Whoever tries this, please write to the group. Hope this is helpful! Guest guest
I also looked into Altoids and this is what an ebay vendor sent me for the ingredients. Hi. This is a wonderfully strong mint. Ingredients in the Altoids are as follows: Sugar, Gum Arabic, Oil of Peppermint, Gelatin, Corn Syrup. Hope that helps! I think, tho, I have found what I will stick with. I have started using spirulina for a few days and today I took not one increased dose, but TWO increased doses AND I do not taste anything. Right now I am washing down the DMSO/MSM/IODINE with my spirulina drink. This method may change, but I think the spirulina is the stink killer. The first day that I took spirulina I had a strong chemical smell to my poo, so I figured this would probably work to kill the DMSO smell and it sure seems to be playing out. I will let you know if this news changes. Lyn

Guest guest
Wahoo, Lyn, anything that will cause stinky poo has to be great stuff, easy to leave in the bathroom. You are so kind and benevolent to share your experiences. And I suspect you are very intelligent, as you take iodine/dmso/msm. Most people in my life, have the attitude, every person for themselves, although they pretend differently while in your presence. So Lyn rin tin, you get a gold star on your report card, for displaying a great personality. May you live a long happy, healthy life. david lubbock tx. Guest guest
Jim Try just increasing your spirulina dose. You quite possibly may just need to take one or two more each time. I do not understand quantities when in a scoop vs. a pill, so I just scoop it into my t-spoon. Yesterday was the first day I tried this like so and after my first increased dose in the morning, there was no taste all day long. That increase (three droppers instead of just two) would always leave a taste that would last for hours. This time, no taste! This was so excited that I tried it again in the evening, taking the same amount of spirulina with the same sized dose and there was no taste even overnight. I could never take two doses in a day before. So I think spirulina is a keeper. Now comes the task of finding ways to get it into me daily. I am not an eater and it does not taste very good.
