Guest guest Posted December 3, 2011 Report Share Posted December 3, 2011 Can anyone give me a biology lesson? It's been too long since I attended Earth and Space Science Class and my brain is fuzzy. I was in A.C. today looking at thefew different kinds of stones they had there. Two bags were each river rock bit one had a whiter stone in it. One bag was called Ocean Glass and looked like broken pieces of green, blue, yellow or clear glass. There were one or two more bags but the only white stone I saw did not look white enough to be quartz; but then I have not handled quartz - or at least knew I was handling quarts - in awhile. So I am not sure how to identify it. I have a string of pink beads that I wonder if they are rose quartz but have no clue how to find out for sure except maybe ask a jeweler. Then I went to Home Depot and confused a group of 3 men when I asked for dust from key grinding. I think I have given them all something to talk about tonight when they get home. ;-) I don't know where else to look for another kind of metal shavings.
