I am labeled NT on this site and I can certainly relate to struggling to be normal (whatever that is).Once again I think the quote can be claimed by anyone human. We all share the same struggles. I have to disagree w/you on Einstein however. The experts I have read feel certain he was not AS. Like you said he was never diagnosed so we can never know for sure. He is however a man I greatly admire for his warmth, kindness, sense of humor and contributions to the world. I have a poster on one of my walls with his quote " Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds " . I find this to be oh so true. I find life more pleasurable when I just live in the moment, relax and be myself. ~ K D

My husband and father are both AS and both technically minded with artistic sides. > > My father was AS and my husband and many of his > family members are AS > > -- which means by the way, if true, that > there is a chance that you are as well : ) .....There is always the chance, but I have been officially declared not AS. I do share some AS traits after being raised by an AS parent and lived w/an AS spouse for over 24 years. > > Many Nobel prize winners have been NT > > -- how do you know? Just because someone is > not dx'd AS does not make them NT. .....The odds are in favor that a great mixture of personalities are Nobel prize winners.
