Guest guest
I keep telling them that.... Nobody will listen. They keep cramming antibiotics and steroids at me and I said "they didn't work last time, why would they work now???" it is sooooo very frustrating. Also- it would be helpful if I could see an infectious disease spec but there are only three around here and none will see me. (implant thing). It makes me soooo mad - I never had these problems until after explant and have had them non-stop since.... that should put some lightbulbs over their heads but it doesn't. Let's see.... explant in April.... by July had massive sinus inf, was treated w/ 5 different oral antibiotics, IV's and shots for 4 months..... never touched it so they did surgery and it was so bad they had to pull out and do surgery again 3 weeks later. within 2 months after the second surgery it started again. I have actually been pretty lucky as about 6 months after that it seemed to stop and now it is back with a vengeance going on months now - this is why I felt so bad at the protest I think... I still wanted to go regardless but I am just worn to a frazzle. I think I will at least try to get them to call in some antifungals for yeast and hopefully they will attack the inf too. I am so frustrated and hate HMO'S!!!! I shouldn't complain as I am very lucky to have insurance still... anyways - thanks to everyone for the kinds words and for the advice. love shari
Guest guest
Shari, have you had your home inspected? We once lived in a "sick house" where my son had 7 cases of strep throat in 4 months. We found out the bathtub upstairs had been leaking into the floor/ceiling causing mold problems. Once we moved out we all had much better health. Chronic sinus infections are a clear sign of mold in the walls. I know because we just gutted our basement after a sewage leak and we have had experts here doing the clean-up. They all said the same thing! I know we have all suffered the mold in our bodies from the implants, but now that yours are out you may be more sensitive to what is in the walls of your home. It's worth looking into. Hugs, The power of Thought, the magic of the Mind!- Lord Byron -- Re: rogene, kenda, toni - thanks!! I keep telling them that.... Nobody will listen. Guest guest
Shari I think you are really missing the boat by not using oil of oregano and olive leaf extract on a regular basis. These are powerful and work well with the body. NOt only that they kill more than just yeast unlike diflucan AND they are not known to cause liver damage. My husband cleared up a very stubborn fungal infection in his nails by taking the oil of oregano. I am using the EAst Park Research olive leaf extract soap to bathe and following up with the lotion and it is even making my keratosis on my skin reduce in size. I fully expect them to clear up. The key is the dosage. They must be used in sufficient strength and taken regularly. In addition, garlic, onions and chives will help complement these routines. I am now putting garlic in my flax seed oil and cottage cheese mixture and using it liberally in cooking. My tongue is looking great whereas it had a coating on it before. I recommend East Park research olive leaf extract because I think it is one of the best out there and I can vouch for its effectiveness. Best of all, you don't have to rely on your doctor to order you a prescription. I love being able to decide for myself what I will take and when I will take it and how much. Good luck with your problem. Also, if you haven't tried the liver cleanse, I would highly recommend or at least the lemon/olive oil drink which will strengthen your immune system. You should also take high dose powdered vitamin C. Your immune system is certainly compromised at present with these infections. Also, echineshia(sure I misspelled it) could be of benefit while suffering the sinus problems. love, kathy telling them that.... Nobody will listen. Guest guest
Shari, If I were you I would put myself on an anticandida program before I would get another surgery. Obviously the surgeries aren't working and you have gone through all this agony only to be right where you started I can't believe the infectious disease doctors won't see you because of implants. How do they sleep at night? Did you see the article I posted this morning about getting rid of candida? If you can get them to give you Diflucan you can do the rest yourself. Of course it does require staying off all sugar but I would think that would be easier than going through another surgery. Love, Anita Re: rogene, kenda, toni - thanks!! I keep telling them that.... Guest guest
Shari, You can self-treat with raw, fresh, crushed garlic, or with Fungal Defense. . . They take long to work than prescription meds, but they are every bit as effective. Antibiotics are a viscious circle! Guest guest
Hi Shari, If you have a yeast problem, that could play a huge part in your continuing sinus infections. If you get your yeast under control, you may notice a decrease in sinus problems. I took my daughter to our doctor because she has been so sick this year, lots of sinus problems. He checked her for yeast because she had been on an antibiotic earlier in the year. Sure enough yeast was out of control. He put her on Diflucan for 14 days and said that should get her sinuses under control as well. We’ll see, she’s taking the Diflucan now. Kenda I keep telling them that.... Nobody will listen. Guest guest
, You have a good point . . . One of my former co-workers got very sick after moving into a new home. She was going downhill at a steady pace. . . Then they moved some boxes (she had been too sick to unpack), and found the carpet was soaked underneath, and mold had taken over. I had a lot of trouble after moving here too . . . We've been here almost four years, and if we leave the house closed up for a long trip, I can still smell the paint when we come back. Shari is in a relatively new house too, if I remember right. Hugs, Rogene
