Looking for Advice on When to have the Explant.

Thanks Beth! I will have the capsules removed. I am trying to

schedule the surgery. Unfortunately, hubby has his 2-week summer

National Guard so it looks like the end of June. I would like to wait

for the MRI & allergy results, which will be at the end of May. I can

have the surgery June 1st; however, it only gives me 8 days to

recovery with my hubby home. I just don't want these implants to

poison my body anymore. Do you have any suggestions? Should I wait

for the MRI & allergy results or have the surgery next week?

I hope this Vertigo goes away after the explant. I can deal with

everything else; however, the whirling feeling is the hardest to deal

with.

Mindy,

You should be fully able to take care of yourself

after eight days. Explant is much easier than implant

surgery. I was going to school eight hours a day five

days after surgery. . . I would have gone earlier if I

had been able to get rid of the drains a couple days

earlier (Saturday and Sunday).

However, if it was me, I would opt to get them out

now. The longer they remain in there, the more

problems you may get and the more difficult it may be

to get better.
