Guest guest
Did anyone see Dateline the other night? They were taking about a new herbal drug that they are calling "The Fountain of Youth". I was watching this show and wondering if this would help all of us recover from the toxins we have in our body. They explained that when we eat and our cells burn food, they also release toxic chemicals known as "free radicals" which cause cell damage and consequently — oxidative stress. They sell this on the internet and I'm thinking about trying it just to see if it makes this fatigue go away and all of the other things I've been experiencing. Here is the website if you are interested in reading about it: http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/Health/story?id=814805 & page=1 Beth S. Guest guest
I saw it and I ordered it right after the show! My shipment is already on its way. I was in Dr. Leu’s office the other day and showed him the ABC website. He read the ingredients and didn’t disagree with them in any way. I am already taking most of the ingredients but there is no way to tell what the level of each ingredient is because it is a proprietary blend and is not listed. I plan on having my oxidative stress level tested before and after taking Propandium for a month or so to see if it is helping. Kenda Did anyone see Dateline the other night? Guest guest
where do you order it? propandim.com. It also explains what the product is supposed to do. It is very interesting. Quinones had his oxidative stress level checked prior to taking Propandim and following a month or two of treatment — I missed the exact time. Oxidative stress levels increase in our bodies as we age and they are part of what causes illness in our bodies. Quinones’ oxidative stress level following Propandim treatment was that of a newborn baby. The only drawback is that you need to take it for life. Guest guest
It is expensive but if you were to order the ingredients individually, it would cost more. I’ll let you all know if my lab work improves after taking it for a while. It will be interesting to see since I am already taking some of the ingredients in it. Guest guest
Kenda, Didn't the show air just on Friday night??? Have you heard about the drug before the show??? How were you able to get approval from your naturopath in that short a period of time??? I'm asking because I want to order it but since I'm so short on money, I don't want to buy another drug that is just hype. When I saw it, I immediately thought of everyone on this website and all of the problems we are having. It would be wonderful if this is the true 'miracle drug' that Dateline claims it is. It is $49.95 for 30 pills. I think that you only take one a day but not sure. I can't remember what the dosage was. That must has passed me by. My impression is as long as you take it you will be well but as soon as you stop taking it your levels will go back up. Did you get that impression? I'm seriously thinking about getting it but would love to hear from someone that has taken it.Kenda Skaggs <kdskaggs@...> wrote: so, what did they say happened to ' s levels? Guest guest
Wow, that’s even more impressive than I thought! The only thing is we don’t know if he was taking any type of supplementation before the test. If he wasn’t the results may not be that great for those of us who do take supplements. I’m still going to try it. Kenda Actually it was only after two weeks of treatment!!! His levels were brought down to that of a newborn in just two weeks!!!! Guest guest
Hi Beth, The show was on Thursday here and no, I had never heard of it before the show aired. I went into Dr. Leu’s office Friday to pick up something for my daughter. One of my lab results came back and Dr. Leu saw me in the lobby so he called me back to talk to me about it — lucky day for me, I didn’t have to wait for a scheduled appointment and he technically isn’t “in” on Fridays. I asked him about it then. The drug is not hype and has good ingredients in it but we don’t know what the ratios of each ingredient are so we can’t duplicate it with other supplements. I’m going to have Dr. Leu run lab work prior to my starting it and after 30 days to see if it helps me. Like I said previously, I am already taking some of the ingredients so it may not help me as much as someone who isn’t. I also thought of everyone here when I saw it. I doubt that reversing oxidative stress can detox one’s organs but it may help the organs do a better job on their own. I’ll have to ask Dr. Leu when I get the rest of my labs back at the end of this week or the beginning of the following week. Yes, you take it once per day and yes, once you stop taking it, your oxidative stress will return to what it was previously. $50 per month isn’t a bad price to pay for that much of an increase in health, as long as it really works. Without lab work, one wouldn’t know if it was working because they aren’t promising that you’ll feel better, they’re promising that you should live a longer, healthier life. Results are in the long run, not short run. If you want to wait a few weeks, you can wait to see how my lab results come out after I have been on it a while.
