Hi everyone...it's a personal decision whether to get the flu shot or

not, but we decided not to as we have every other year and this link

addresses the concerns that I have regarding flu shots. I haven't

personally verified everything said in this article but it gives you

a little something to start with if you want to use it as a starting

point in looking for more info to base your decision on.

Anyway, whether you decide to get it or not, I hope you all have a

healthy and happy holiday :)

this link addresses the concerns that I have regarding flu shots.

I'm always a tad uneasy about a website where they are promoting

their own agenda (i.e. books, products, etc) but of course the drug

companies are promoting their flu vaccine too. I practice some

complimentary medicine (I prefer that term to alternative medicine)

but am very leery of a lot of it because in my findings it's based on

a lot of hocus pocus and anecdotal evidence. Too often people

touting herbals and other treatments prey on sick people like me who

have tired of getting no relief from the traditional medical

community.

I'll get off my soapbox now. I've got to research this flu vaccine

thing more thoroughly. <g>

Marilyn,

You're a woman after my own heart. Don't believe anything that you

haven't verified at the source :) I agree about taking things with a

grain of salt when somebody's trying to sell you something. Too bad I

didn't have a better link handy. I too plan to do more research

before I consider getting stuck.

let me know if u find an especially good resource and I'll do the

same if you want.

(((hugs)))
