Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for telling your story. I appreciate it as I'm sure that all of the people in this group also appreciate it. I was quite shocked when you said that your kidney's started failing. I have kidney disease in my family. Can you tell me what your symptoms were? Did you have any or was it found through tests? I'm a little concerned by this. My Father and Grandmother both had a kidney removed due to kidney disease. Thanks again for what you have done. Beth S. Guest guest
, I am also puffed up. I call myself the pillsbury dough girl! Since my explant, I lost a bit of it but not all. When I exert myself, my body starts to puff up again. One day, I was fixing a lamp and I felt that my bra was becoming tighter and tighter. I had to take it off, it started to cut into my skin. My wrists blow up along with my hands, face, feet and abdomen. Every doctor I've seen said that it is just weight gain. Weight gain doesn't come and go like that. So, I was wondering if there was a specific test you had for your kidneys. I had blood work and an ultrasound and everything checked out but I don't believe it. Sorry you didn't get to see the show. Hopefully you will get the DVD soon! Beth S. "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." - Caras Discover Have fun online with music videos, cool games, IM more. Check it out! Guest guest
Beth, Perhaps you need to look seriously into lymphatic drainage! It sounds like all the puffiness could be from sluggish lymph movement. The lymph system does not have a pump like the heart. So, it needs exercise like walking or jumping rope to get it moving around. Some of us have experience swollen lymph glands as a result of our implants, and I think posted about how much it helped her. A rebounder is an excellent piece of equipment--and cheap too, like $25 at Sears--to use for lymphatic drainage. I know we've posted some articles on it...look into it. There's great info on the net about the use of rebounders. Otherwise, you can pay $$$$ to have treatments, but I think rebounding is probably a little more convenient, and can be fun, too! I hope this will help you... Hugs, Patty --- In , " Beth S. " <schaffe88@y...> wrote: > , > > I am also puffed up. I call myself the pillsbury dough girl! Guest guest
have you ever tried the kidney cleanses? I have also heard that juicing celery is good for the kidneys. And of course, keeping them flushed with plenty of water, not overwhelming them with too much protein, and watching salt intake is good too. Will it air again after wed? Guest guest
Beth you are right. It is not normal to have swelling like that. Have you had any tests run? I think you should at least get a full panel blood test including urine testing for protein, etc. The blood test will do enzymes for kidneys like creatinine and bun. You might also want to run ANA tests for autoimmune conditions. Are you detoxing? Juicing? Using a sauna? Are you able to sweat ok? Hopefully as you detox and eat healthy and juice, this problem will improve. hugs kathy --- In , " Beth S. " <schaffe88@y...> wrote: > , > > I am also puffed up.
