Guest guest
Hi All, Yesterday, after trigger-finger surgery on my right thumb, I was growing worried about the many hours of absolute numbness that persisted(sensory nerve damage being one of the risks of tendon- release procedure) Finally, I put some full strength DMSO on the exposed part of my thumb and within FIVE seconds, feeling returned to that spot! The DMSO carried that anesthetic right out. Neat, huh? Be well, Léna
Guest guest
Gee Wally, that is swell, and we do a big drum roll here in texas for passing that info along. Lena, I wonder if it might help the damaged nerves? just a question, david lubbock tx > ** > > > Hi All, > Yesterday, after trigger-finger surgery on my right thumb, I was > growing worried about the many hours of absolute numbness that > persisted(sensory nerve damage being one of the risks of tendon- > release procedure) > Finally, I put some full strength DMSO on the exposed part of my thumb > and within FIVE seconds, feeling returned to that spot! > The DMSO carried that anesthetic right out. Guest guest
Wow, Lena.. good for you. Glad you thought of the DMSO. DMSO is supposed to be great for strokes, spinal injuries, burns etc. If you keep using it to help you heal faster, keep us posted, ok? Guest guest
Luckily, there was no damage (The nerves lie perilously close to the tendon being released, so that's one of the risks, though) that's why I was eager to get rid of the effects of the anesthesia, to see if things were normal. I know that they use DMSO to transport donor organs, so I'd assume it keeps things in the best shape possible.
