Hi Everyone,

Most of you know that I went to NY to have a 48 hour EEG. I've been having

major memory loss, as well as confusion. I had 2 regular EEG's done in

Maine. Both came back with " lots of activity, including seizure. " EEG's are

only as good as the doctor reading them.

This EEG came back without seizures :) The doctors think it is because of

various medications I am taking. Some of the meds interact with other meds.

I started taking Neurontin a few months ago, that is probably the one that

is causing problems. However, the combination of Neurontin and Pamalor

really helped with headaches.

We started by taking away the muscle relaxants. I'll be off that in about a

week. I rarely took the noon dose, and had been cutting back on the night

time dose. I tried to get off the Cymbalta, but all of my joints started to

scream. Time will tell what I can live without.

The doctors in NY, not TCI told me it could be early onset dementia,

hydrocephalus, slow brain wave activity on the left side, or

amount/combination of meds,

It has been really difficult for Jeff. He asks me to do something, and I

forget. We are both working on with the frustration. He's been through all

of my surgeries, and this is probably the hardest thing to conquer.

I hope all is well with all of you, as good as they can get.

Best Wishes, and thanks for reading my post.

Kathleen
