Guest guest
Dear and all I would really appreciate your views and advice on my current problems if you have a sec. [18 weeks since I swapped from 20mg seroxat to prozac liquid. Currently taking 10mg prozac plus 2mg valium daily. Not planning to reduce prozac anymore for a month. Been on SSRI's for 4 ½ years - been trying to come off them for 2.] I have bought some 30c aconite as recommended for panic attacks but at the moment I am suffering from an overwhelming feeling of depression plus constant anxiety. I have a feeling of everything `spiralling downwards' and have no interest in anything. I keep trying to tell myself that it is withdrawal but am so scared that I am heading for total breakdown. Apart from the above I have also been trying Bach Rescue Remedy but not sure that this is helping - maybe I need to try a more specific one. Im also getting quite noticeable muscle spasms - thought they would have reduced now on smaller dose but if anything have increased in last few days. (Feels like an inadvertent clenching of muscle.) I really would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks Sallyx
Guest guest
Hi Sally, You sound like your in the midst of the withdrawal it's a battle that only you can fight it's a rough one probably the roughest one you will ever fight in your life because thats what your fighting for your life. It's hard I have been there myself with paxil and many others have fought the fight and came out the other side it makes you wise up that all this stuff is poison and it shouldn't be allowed to continue.I used to talk myself through everything i was going through wondering if the roller coaster was ever going to stop it's wild in withdrawal and the less of the drug you take the harder it gets even for a while with no drugs then it starts to get clearer and you start to get your life back bit by bit.So the slower you come off the more time you give your brain time to adjust to not having it.Hope this makes sense to you. Thinking of you Hugs Ros
