Guest guest
Dear Lo, I'm concerned about your capsules, especially about the twitching. I had the twitching as well, very badly. Today, my doctor believes that particular symptom was caused by infection. Even though I only had my implants 11 months, Dr. Blais told me the capsules had had a reaction to the implants. They were thin, but fibrous. Also, as I have mentioned before, my left implant was infected with Aspergillus and Staff. I am not trying to belittle your doctor but it sounds to me that A)your doctor doesn't know how to do en bloc or B)he doesn't believe you are ill from them and doesn't want to take the extra time. My surgery was 4 1/2 hours of Dr. Kolb painstakingly taking out every little piece by piece of capsule. If your doctor is openminded, perhaps he would be open to talking with Dr. Kolb on the necessity of capsule removal? She has walked other surgeons through the process. If he's not, then I would recommend finding a compassionate surgeon. I don't know how much he is charging you, but an en bloc removal is roughly around $5,000-7,000 without lift. Since you've had your implants two years, I am very concerned about what's in those capsules. hugs, Beth > > > Hi everybody, > > > I haven't posted for a while because I didn't have the internet > > for a > > > while because I moved (still very stressed out). Guest guest
Hi Lo, One thing I was thinking about this morning is, if cost is your issue, it will be FAR less expensive to have everything done at once rather than having to go back again later to remove the capsules. Kenda Dear Lo, I'm concerned about your capsules, especially about the twitching. I had the twitching as well, very badly. Today, my doctor believes that particular symptom was caused by infection.
