Guest guest
Hi Stacie, I am very estrogen dominant and have had dangerously high levels of estrogen. I take ProGone progesterone sublingual tablets and have had no symptoms like have been described here. The problem I have had is that my progesterone was over treated by a doc previous to Dr. Leu and we have had a heck of a time getting it back down. I, too, am tiny, 5’4” and 100 pounds on a heavy day. So I guess we are the anomalies with regard to weight and hormones. Kenda Patty, Let me ask you this typically if you are estrogen dominant dont you tend to battle with weight. I'm very tiny and that's why I found it strange that I would have estrogen dominance. The first time I was tested I was low in estrogen the next time I was low in progesterone so thats why we went with the progesterone. I dont know I think I will stop the progesterone, I sure dont want to fall back into that brain foginess that took me so long to get rid of. Thanks for your help, Stacie >From: " glory2glory1401 " <glory2glory1401@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Re: progesterone >Date: Tue, 10 May 2005 21:42:44 -0000 > >Hmmm, this is one of those things where you might need to go really >slowly and see if this is going to work for you in the long term or >not. Guest guest
I would never go on anything without Dr Lee's book and a reputable company like www.salivatest.com to test my hormones via saliav 1st,then treat according to their docs recommendations. Then I would follow up with another test. Another thing, always have your thyroid tested 1st, as it is the master gland , and if off whack, will deplete and throw others off.
