Hi Sara,

I live in Northern CA, in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am about a 45 min.

drive away from San Francisco in the East Bay.

Thank you for your concerns, because you are right. I did contact Hospice and

will have to wait for Tuesday for any results to occur, because of the weekend

and holiday. I will just have to rely on the nh keeping Jim comfortable. I may

be more uncomfortable than Jim. Maybe they should give me a shot of morphine!

It is so painful to watch. I feel so sorry for Jim.

I'm sorry very sorry you are having experience this....My hands were

so tied with my dad and hospice really didn't help me except to pay

for his meds. There was no one to help except his aid and that was set

up after the holiday. I did it mostly by myself....poor Janet and Jim!!

Pull together and be sure he is as comfortable as he can be. It is

hard to watch and I wish I could be there with you. Where are you?

Where is Janet. I feel so helpless myself knowing she is going through

the same thing I went through during the holidays. IT IS SO AWFUL no

matter how strong you are to be at the mercy of a medical institution.
