Guest guest
This one is a whopper. Haven't had one like this in a couple years. I have had mini flares, but this one is getting me down. I knew it was coming for months with all the stress we've had this year. I am so tired, can't even be upright for very long, losing my appetite. I am keeping a watch out since I have had the Pericarditis before. I feel a lot like I did then, except no chest pain yet. I remember having a very fast heartbeat when that happened. Mine is getting up there, not horrible, but almost 120 bpm resting. In the past, as sudden, dramatic weight loss has followed. In the past, a sudden, dramatic weight loss has followed. I tried to fix dinner last night and had to keep sitting down. Thank goodness my daughter is here to help some. Tired, achy, nauseous, bleh... weather isn't helping, either. I am afraid b/c, even though Dan is home now and seems to be okay at the moment, we both can't be sick, it's too much. I don't have good luck with the Thanksgiving holiday, as I have been in the hospital in years past twice on that day and one other time in November. Hoping the trend does not continue. If I get any worse, will be calling my Rheumy. Went down to 15 mg of Pred on Saturday (from 20) but, I swear, I almost think I need a higher dose. Anyway, that's my update, hope everyone feels good today and may all of you who celebrate it have a Happy Thanksgiving!
