Guest guest
I am 40 with PMS. My doctor suggested a number of approaches, including the Wiley Protocol. She thinks WP is more appropriate for pre-menopausal women then peri-menopausal and menopausal women, but I don't know her reasoning. At first I was intrigued by WP, I'd love to have a libido, but now I'm scared. What does your experience tell you about what I might try first, second, third in this hormonal journey I'm on? In other words, for someone with an intact but bumpy hormonal ride, what approaches and resources would you recommend first? The main thing I'm getting from your posts so far is that hormonal interventions are complicated and I need to take it very slowly. Thanks, Sitzele Details on me: Regular menstrual cycle. Heavy bleeding and tendancy toward anemia (addressed with Floradix). I'm not menopausal nor perimenopausal according to the blood tests. No children. No cancer or cancer history in family. A recovering vegetarian, eat animal protein at every meal, and I'm a new Weston A. Price enthusiast. Have never used a pharmaceutical beyond an antibiotic. I test quite " low " (blood) for estrogen, progesterone and testosterone on days 3 and 21.
