I have Chiari malformation but have not experienced this problem, can someone

tell me if this is a chiari related problem:

My niece had a severe headache on Sunday and was in bed all day. But after this

headache she forgot what she did earlier in the weekend. She forgot what she did

on saturday and she was on a family trip but didn't remember it and she also was

with a friend on friday but hardly remembered what they talked about or did. is

this common with chiari and headaches? I'll have to find out if she remembers

more in another day or so after the headache ended?

I'd appreciate any replies!

thank you

I have that due to grand mal seizures. There are many types of seizures. I

would go to a neurologist and ask for an EEG. Good luck. Short term memory

issues are usually temporal lobe. Did she it her head or have a sorts injury ?

Might want to check for seizure activity.
