Guest guest
As you all know Maddy had her chiari decompression 9 days ago. It was very successful! The next morning she woke up with her usual frontal headache. She ended up having a shunt revision 2 days ago because the shunt had stopped working. A few hours after surgery she was eating and drinking and seemed to be alot better. However yesterday she started becoming very hard to wake up,slept all day and when awake cried that front of her head hurt. She is so out of it that she isnt telling us wheh she has to pee (she is in a diaper for now). Nsg came by last night said todays mri shows an area is bigger than it was before surgery,so he adjusted shunt. She is still very hard to wake up,when awake cries about her head. He came in a litttle bit ago,is very concerned, made her npo and ordered more scans. He said something isnt right with her shunt. Please keep her in your prayers.
