Hi all,

This is a fascinating 8 minute video about what happens in the nervous system to

cause pain and what goes wrong to take pain from a normal response to a separate

disease process. The speaker is a pediatrician at Stanford's Lucile Packard

Children's Hospital, which is where I used to work and very close to home. When

we change insurance, I'd love to be able to get Ari seen at that pain clinic,

though I don't know if her daily pain is severe enough for that to be necessary.
