Nik (24); Cass (AS) 21 and Britt (AS) 20 divorced from Larry a self DX ASPIE for 3 years. We are a mixed bag of nuts as we are a group of parents/partners/spouses and some "with" AS and because of this our perspectives are different on any given topic as our brains are wired differently. We are all here to learn and as humans are all "flawed" in our own way. We all make mistakes and if I had a nickel for every time I put my foot in my mouth over the years as an advocate or just a mom or spouse searching for answers, I would be rich. lol I like to think we are all here at the table for a reason and that is to improve "our" lives. In the process, we might fall at times, makes mistakes, offend the other side, BUT hopefully together at the end of the day can offer insight that the other side might listen too?
