Uterus and E needs

Once you have your uterus only removed do your E needs decline? I

would think so as it takes a lot of E to build a endometrial lining,

right? Did anyone notice what happened to their E levels after the

surgery? Does it send your hormones into a flux? Is it done under

general anesthesia or a drip? How long is the average surgery? Is it

best to do it vaginally? How difficult to recover?

Thanks,

Eileen

Eileen, my E needs did NOT change after hyst. I had a laparospically assisted hyst. I was back on my feet in days!
