I mean, if I get all "keyed-up" for some worldly reason, I almost

feel as if I AM back on paxil.

Can't think straight, forget words in mid-stream scentence, vision

problems, sleeping starts to suffer...etc.

Kev: This is still a constant problem for me. I cannot get over-stimulated or stressed out. If I do, all the symptoms of Paxil withdrawal rears their ugly head.

What's are some best ways, in your opinion, to help our skin be as

radiant, healthy looking as can be?

Omega-3, vitamin E, lots of antioxidants, Alpha Lipoic Acid/DMAE (there are radiant skin combos in the health food store), lots of water, no smoking, no junk food chemicals, etc. Also, NaPCA (a spray you can get at the healthfood stores) brings moisture to your skin. And then, if you are REALLY vain, there's Retin-A! LOL BAsically, it good skin starts from the inside out. Not the other way around. I read somewhere that free radicals are mostly responsible for wrinkles, liver spots, etc. So antioxidants make sense.

Dear Keven,

You said:

like: how does the bod basically processes its intake or things we

ingest.

** How about a basic tutorial on this (Digestive system 101)? Be

patient; it takes a while to load. You're going to love this :-) The

digestive section is good. Let me know if it fits the bill.

Which organs, REALLY LIKE which foods we could ingest? >>

You said:

<<If some (organ) suffers, does some other or does another, alternate

system take up the missing slack?>>

** Generally speaking, no. In some particular scenarios, yes. It's too

vast of a topic to cover here. Suffice it to say that organs tend to have

backup systems (so to speak) of their own that endeavor to keep a person's

chemistry functioning as it should. This does not take the place of the

organ working properly. You might equate it to a balloon tire, lol.

Let's see what questions you come up with after the tutorial.

LOL

Thanks Cath, that sure was elementary. LOL

: )

** Are you asking what a good diet for you would be?

>>>In essence, yes, I am.<<<

It is SOoooo important to me though, #1; that I marvel in the fact

of being free from all those benzos!!! Yeah me!

(((me)))

#2, I am sadly learning though, whether it be Paxhell related or

benzo realted - whatever, doesn't matter.

What I am admitting here is, my brain, and how she operates, REALLY

seems to be affected, moreso now, when extra stressors in life play

themselves out.

I mean, if I get all " keyed-up " for some worldly reason, I almost

feel as if I AM back on paxil.

Can't think straight, forget words in mid-stream scentence, vision

problems, sleeping starts to suffer...etc.

However, re-built & newly learned coping skills, a WAY BETTER and

positive attitude, and most importantly, your w & r list are really

helping when 'worldly stressors' so make their approach.

I find myself, not being affected so much by the exact same things

that once 'so called' caused the anxiety & depression.

It's like my mind is so delicate now, and I need to make the

attempts or goals to better myself, small enough to get to. Not SO

LARGE that a drastic change will disrupt the entire system, and also

be too much to tackle at one time.

~~~~~~~~~
Again,
** Are you asking what a good diet for you would be?
imho, it seems, many list members seem to ask you this same
question. You answer, then they'll often re-ask, a similar question,
like 3 or so weeks later.
I want to do this once, and then apply what I can, at this moment.
and step up from there.
I don't want to go overboard with attempting to change too many bad-
eating habits too quickly. Not only would I, or may I backslide,
but the body is used to running the way it has been.
What I'd love to accomplish, as I have been, what seems for my
entire life, would be weight gain. I seem to have a metabolism like
a damn race car, OR, LOL, my dang mind uses up all the food-energy
first. LOL
Also, a very highly desired goal, would be to keep & maintain that
healthy skin glow.
I life with the assumption, that the skin, is an organ in itself.
roight?
What's are some best ways, in your opinion, to help our skin be as
radiant, healthy looking as can be?
Hi you,
Are you serious?
I mean, I know you are, that is a figure of speach up there.
Well Glitter, that just sucks then! - I don't recall being this way
before.
I used to be able to multi-task like a banshee.
I used to be much more organized.
LOL, a virgo who's lost the ability to organzie??? sounds strange,
but sadly, its true.
I guess I am learning as I go on thru life now, how bad ingesting
Paxil really was.
I keep wanting to say its ALL me, and that, " Oh, I guess I am just
feeling lazy today " , but as weeks go by, and some of the most simple
life tasks, are STILL not done, well then, the reasons as to why,
REALLY elude me.
imho, Its like:
basic life functioning-101 has been altered, and NOT by choice.
Thanks for your response Glitter,
Kev
Oh! - I just scrolled down, THANKS for the info on skin!
: )
