Eileen, Two grains were keeping my temp nicely at 98.0 more or less, but then I do quite a bit of estradiol (9 to 12 mg olive oil E) and so somehow the combo was not working. I added Iodoral and reduced slowly down to 1 grain. Sometimes I have to add 1/2 grain in PM due to cold hands, but that is not often. Cortisol seems to work for the cold hands just as well, so I am mostly doing that. No hyperthyroid sumptoms. My thyroid readings are just about perfect now at TSH- 1.6 and free T3 and T4 at mid-range. So doesn't look like I am shutting down my thyroid at this point. Lowering the thyroid meds and adding Iodoral did slow down the hair loss. I have not recently done temps, but will do so again just to double check where I am at now. No I have not been taking the thyroid meds and the Cortisol at the same time. Should I? I take

my thyroid after breakfast along with Iodoral and take Cortisol a couple of hours later. Thanks, Madeleen Atlanta Girl wrote: >Madelene..... I'm curious here. From what I read most hypoT people are unable to dose with the fraction of armour that they need without shutting down the thyroid so they have to go full ticket.. This isn't everyone, just a large percentage. Do you ever take your temps? When your hair was falling out on 2 grains did you feel any hyper symptoms? Did you take your armour with the cortisol so they could work together? I was wondering how such a low dose of armour could cause hair loss....> Thanks Eileen, that is helpful.>> I always wake
