Subject: New to the group

Hi all,

My name is Terri, I am new to the group. I am a Registered Nurse Practitioner,

I was diagnosed with Still's in Jan. 2010 and had worked until about 8 months

ago when I was diagnosed with systemic Still's also and had a few major

surgeries to remove organs that stopped working.

I have the greatest husband() in the world who has been so understanding

and deals with all my ups and downs, we were High School sweethearts and have

been married for 30 yrs in April. He is a Pediatrician but when the systemic

side of all this started he cut back his work schedule so he would be at home

more. We have one son who is 26yrs old and in medical school in Missouri

studying pediatrics and is married, but no grandchildren yet.

I am currently on MTX, Enbrel, Plaquenil, and Prednisone. Although the Enbrel is

not working as well as it once was, so my doc is looking into possibly getting

Actemra. Tried Kineret for a while and had terrible hives all over so he took me

off of it.

I hope to meet you all and learn what everyone else is experiencing with this

terrible disease.

Terri
