Biographies Needed for 10th Annual Working Toward a Day Without Pain Gala

" Working Toward a Day without Pain " Gala is less than 2 months away! That means

it

is time to update the biography PowerPoint and framed biographies. The

framed biographies are placed around the ballroom, and the PowerPoint will be

on a loop through dinner. We have found that these biographies really add a

personal touch, and help show the guests the faces of the people they are

helping.

If you would like to participate, please send the following to at

lkanepunyon@...:

Biography: Provide your autobiography, or a biography of your loved one,

as related to the diagnosis and/or life with SM/CM/related disorders.

Ideally, keep the biography under 250 words so that we can use a larger font.

This allows people to read it as they view the raffle/auction items. Please

also include a picture with the biography.

And/or PowerPoint:

·Recent Picture

·Age

·Diagnosis

·# of Surgeries

·Personal statement or fact. (For instance college students may want to

say " Freshman at SUNY Geneseo " or parents may want to say " Mother/Father of

3 " , etc.)

Even though this seems really simple, this is a great way for you to help

raise awareness and funds for Chiari, SM, and related disorders research

activities. I hope you will consider helping to make A Decade of Galas Making

a Difference! a huge success!
