Hi Kev

No, webtv doesn't get yahoo chat or any chat that i know of except you

guessed it webtv chat. I'm not much good at chat anyway, too much too

fast. I like the slower pace of emails back and forth. That's fast

enough for me and also gives one time to consider what you are saying

before you say it if that's much help which it often isn't. :-). esp if

you are givn to blurtiness like me.

What kind of guitar do you have. My ex- was heavy duty into guitars and

the world of Gibson. He worked for them for years anmet Les

several times at clinics and whatnot. I must say i hope you have

acoustic though i do like stomp and hiphop but those aren't

guitars.Ialso ike Bach too but he aina guitars either. Used to listen

kiss, the stones, all sorts of raunchy ypes and still have guilty

pleasures on throwing on an ablum such as, once in a while when i'm

feeling angry and want to beat up the world. :-).

Anyway, do yo sing folk or ?

LOL. Yeah, I agree about the chat, also, I think the pace of this

list, being moderated at all, is a good thing really. SLOWS

everyone down, since we're often all, go-go-go all the time!

; )

me

~~~~~~~~~
Oh! your in for a treat.
It is an acustic. It was a gift to me when I turned 25. I want a
new one, but in due time. Mine is a yamaha, nothing all that
special, but I love it, since it was a gift and all. It plays very
well for being less than 300 bucks when it was new.
Also, I have friends and brothers who also have MANY guitars
too...many, MANY of them. (guitars that is) - I also do drums &
percussion, which IS my biggest passion, yet to fully persue. I do
get to play the skins though, and I LOVE THAT, alot!
I am VERY lucky to be surrounded by such persons with access to all
these instruments. LOL
12 stringers are fun, and SO MUCH MORE rich of a sound, but wreak
havoc on my fingers.LOL
My best friend, has a classical guitar, which is WAY FUN to me, the
3 lowest (or top actaully) strings are nylon, which IS easy on the
fingers. It was his mom's when SHE was a young lady. I play it
with honor, when I do play it. I played it last night as a matter
of fact! Nice guitar, and a softer sound.
I play anything really. I'll here something on the radio, and
usually can replicate within a few minutes. Odd though, I never
took any music lessons.
: )
Bach=pure mathematical genious!, imho
Janet,
I listen to almost everything, minus country. (Too twangy for me,
but I respect EVERY artist out there, doin' it!, doing their thing)
Kuudos to them!
There is a difference between an artist, and a mass media force-fed
pop40 star. Using the term star, very loose!!! LOL
Anymooo, having two older brothers, etc. I've been around ALL kinds
of musical tastes.
Kev <-- LOVES MUSIC
Yaaaah
I've shared with Cath, off-list before, that we had a piano, when I
was growing up.
That really helped tuned my ears. Not kidding. I think I'm like
you, with good tone recognition and all.
Also, I used to get scolded for pounding on my school desk as a
child. Poundin' out beats, and using my textbooks and pencils as a
make_shift drum set.LOL
I had been in band, during part of my early schooling. Percussion.
That was SO sweet, to play all the different percussion instruments
the school had. Chimes, triangles, xylophone, cymbals, rhumba
sticks, etc. Hey Glitter!, even played cow-bells!! LOL
Anyways...
Sometime in this lifetime, I will have a nice set of drums, & a
whole slew of other persussion instruments, and lastly, a baby grand!
I already have many insturments, but long for a nice set of drums &
that baby grand. <- I can just picture it now.
I want to add a newer acustic guitar to my pile of musical tools
too. Someday.
Janet, your making me SO want to head down to the local music shop,
and hang out, trying ALL their instuments. (again) LOL
: )
