Guest guest
This is a GREAT message to another group, from a member who takes Low Dose Naltrexone LDN. E-mail 1 Well, a year ago I was in a wheelchair. I wasn’t able to do much except sit and watch TV. That alone was a challenge as my eyes are also bad. On July 21 I began taking LDN. Not long ago I started taking stand up showers and that was a big deal. Today for the first time in 18 months I mowed my grass. I didn’t do the whole yard (just the small front) and I used a self propelled mower but, I did it. I imagine that the more I do it will strengthen my walking. The more independent I am the better. E-mail 2 I am PPMS. My improvements were gradual. E-mail 3 I was in the wheelchair for 5 months before starting LDN. When I did start it was about 1 week before I was out of the chair. Then I “wall walked†and then less and less. Now I use the walls very rarely. I don’t walk like I did pre wheelchair. I only have 85 to 90% of my balance back. The mower does all of the work I just walk behind it guiding it. Another more detailed message of the past 10 months is expected next month. This was a reposting of emails from a member of another group. -
