I don't think allday sells LDN per se. But you can buy Naltrexone from them and

make your own (50ml pure/distilled water to one tablet).

alldaychemist.com sells a generic naltrexone, called Naltima, which

you can then compound by diluting in distilled water: one tab to

100ml., (I think the formula was-it's been a while since i did it).

Then start with 1.5 ml., working up to 4 ml. for your LDN dosage.

Be well,

Léna

Niether make LDN, but both sell nodict, which is same as american

naltrexone, then you mix the fifty gram pills with water and dose

accordingly. david lubbock tx.

Hi All - I need to put this on the LDN pages - but I'm in a hurry so here

goes: went to an LDN prescribing Doc. yesterday. He scoffed at the

dissolving into water method and claimed there was no way we could know how

much we were getting. He says this chem will not maintain integrity in

suspension. Also scoffed at compounding. Said that you needed to get the

" purest " Of course he sells the purest! Says he has it tested. He sold 1mg

tabs - do not know the source. But since I really liked him and did not

feel he was a shark or a charleton I am wondering. Will call Skip later in

week.

I scoff at scoffing docs! I gave them 40 years to get it right (Lyme

Disease) and having stepped away into my own 5 years of self-healing,

I'm finally doing well. I'm not presently doing LDN, but mixing one

tab with distilled water DOES work. It's advised that you refrigerate

it and only keep it for a month, though.

Be well,

Léna

Hi Mara,

The experience shared is not uncommon. The reason some LDN prescribing

Drs are concerned about those getting LDN from the internet and places like

India is that nobody really knows the quality of Naltrexone they are

getting. I know many have had good results. Not so long ago on the main

LDN group I think it was, somebody contacted one of the pharmacies they get

theirs from asking what filler is involved and they received a response

saying they didn't know and they should ask their Dr. This caused great

concern as these pharmacies should know what they're putting in Naltrexone

as fillers.

Please post what you find out regarding the dissolving into water

I am sure we'd all like to know what Skip has to say about it.

Lena,

Would you be willing to share what you are doing with your Lyme

disease. I also have chronic lyme as well as babesia and have been

working on it for years.

If I remember correctly, it was Garnet who gave the " recipe " for LDN from the

Naltrexone tablets (Naltima-50) from allday. It's what I use anyway and it

seems to be helping.

Hi Mara,

It's not the method this Dr is concerned about, it's the quality of

Naltrexone people are getting from India and the like that they are

questioning. They're worried about people who are unable to get a script

for LDN and resort to these places, purely for the quality control, that's

all.

Hope that clarifies.

Not all MDs are alike. In February, I was in one rehab facility where

the

MD refused to allow me to take my suppliments. My cousin snuck them

in a locked bag, so, I took them when the staff was busy. This facility

was terrible when it came to following the hospital's discharge orders

and my diet.

I just left another rehab facility where the MD allowed me to take my

suppliments only according to recommended dosage on the container.

The fact that I need to take higher dosages on certain suppliments,

wasn't

acceptable to him. My cuz came through, again, for me. This facility

was much better at following hospital discharge orders and diet.

Thanks. It does clarify. I am always suspect of Doctors who nay

say and stand to make a buck off of it.

Great that this has sparked some discussion. I will post again once I get

time to call Skip's.

Meanwhile all these thoughtful contributions lend good info to the

conversation.

I myself did not need the LDN, was accompanying a friend w/ estrogen +

breast cancer

in order to allay her fears of taking the LDN I was giving her. (tablet

dissolved in to distilled ater,)

I truly liked and respected this doc. But of course, he did sell her the LDN

pills (1mg each) which he claimed were tested for purity.

His statement was that our local compounding pharm which most use in Toronto

- could not possibly be producing a " tested " ingredient if they were selling

it at 1.00 per capsule.

My goodness what waters we have to navigate. Tiresome.

Will post more as I learn more.
