Guest guest
Greetings~ With Thanksgiving behind us, and Christmas ahead of us, I wanted to caution y'all to try and plan ahead as much as you possibly can. Perhaps, before the holidays, get a few friends and family ( and good cooks!! )to join you at your house and do some en masse baking! Then everyone gets some home made baking, and you get a chance to A. get some home made treats B. spend some time with some good friends and family C. save your energy for the festivities. This can work with entree's too of course..sky's the limit! Christmas, while a wonderful time of year, can be stressful. Try and remember to be kind to yourself, and be vigilant against depression! Don't overdo anything if you can! If there is anyone who needs an understanding ear, please don't hesitate to call me at . If I'm not available, please leave a number and I will call you back as soon as I get your message! We care about you all! Smiles and regards Cat Pres. Guest guest
Hey Cat! Good, wise counsel as you always give....Thank you! I want to reiterate: Please listen to your body! If it says rest, rest....don't do like i do and attempt to push on thru.....Sir Still's just LOVES to party with fatigue and stress! I was looking at my newest grandbaby the other day and watching her i realized how much she " listens " to her little body (she is only five months old)....when she is tired, she rests and/or sleeps...when hungry she lets her mom and dad know it...etc....i told her: " lil miss Piper, i can sure learn from you! " Although I doubt my wife would respond in a positive manner to me pitching a little fit when i am hungry, the resting part applies..LOL! I hope everyone has a most blessed Christmas/Hannukah Season! Larry B.
