Well - Holding on to Hope!!

I took off my last Duragesic patch on Sunday. I have now entered the

wonderful world of detox - may I say that this is truly an unpleasant world

that doesn't last too long!!

I have such stomach cramps.. Sweats, fevers up and down, oh my. I am using

Percocet now, which I truly am thankful for because I don't think I could

get through this without it.

Today, I was tempted to put the patch back on, but my Husband encouraged me

to stay the course, and he put a little bit of frankincense oil on my

forehead which actually helped my spirit and got me through a bad hour, so

now I am just asking my stills family for good thoughts and from those that

believe.

I need a little extra help to get through the next couple of weeks, but I

truly know that I am doing the right thing. The symptoms of this detox go

on and on so I won't bore you with those, but it isn't fun at all. I can

say that I am not giving up on Hope and I know that this is what I am meant

to do.

I thank all of you in advance that are willing to say a quick prayer to help

me get through this. This is harder to deal with than the pain itself.
