I was, I was tested at that time...not to mention I was a nervous wreck at

the time.

I do appreciate the advice, BUt I have to follow the advice of my doctor at

this point......he did quite an exhaustive series of tests.

I have a low blood count. No one knows why. I was checked for everything,

they just said 'well, we don't know. Must be nurtitional......or

Lyme........etc etc'

Very scary........at least until I went through that godawful biopsy and put

my mind at ease.

To hear different opinions and consider them, but not in place of my doctor's

advice and my own sense.

I doubt it will, but it is a start.........however, I really don't think that

I need more thyroid hormond at this point.

I'll ask for the numbers tomorrow. I haven't done anything for adrenals, I

have for my hormones.....I am afraid to screw with my adrenals because they

seem to be hypersensitive if anything.......sometimes they just fire off for

no reason now that I am on thyroid.

My priorities lie in my health, but in order to maintain my health I need to

have money.....please do NOT accuse me of not 'trying'..........I am very

health conscious. I eat right, exercise, don't drink, smoke, etc etc.....

I am not one of these people who doesn't do what they need to.....however, I

can't shirk my responsibilities.....this is my future we are talking about.

If you were on " one grain " , you were on 60 mgs. Maybe you are

thinking that 30 mg. was one grain??

When it comes to thyroid, I hope you will eventually understand that

we can have better knowledge than your own doc, unless he's

extremely knowledgeable, which most are not. It's certainly a good

sign if this one put you on the Armour. A knowledgeable doc will be

also test your free T3 and free T4, your adrenals, your female

hormones, DHEA, etc. We are all hoping the best for you, and that

you have a good doc!!

Hi ,

I didn't accuse you of anything. My point is that you obviously

can't afford to go to school and spend the money to get well, so its

either one or the other. It sounds to me like you know what is wrong

and you know what to do. I really wasn't attacking you or anything.

I guess I really don't understand why you are so defensive. We are

only trying to help you with some suggestions. It certainly is your

choice. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. We care about you and

really want you to get better and feel good. That's what we all want

for ourselves and each other.
