Hi , thanks for your reply. I am planning on talking with my sister

today so we'll see how the anti-emetic (anti nausea med) is working for her

nausea and vomiting. I did tell her about the injection form so she's aware of

that option. She had started losing some hair for a while before she started the

methotrexate as just another of her symptoms, but obviously the methotrexate

ain't helpin'! He increased her folic acid again to try to counteract that side

effect. Oh well. We'll see how it goes. Thanks!

<when my rheumy started me on the MTX i had terrible nausea. he switched me to

the injectable form and that pretty much fixed the nausea. i also lost a lot of

hair during the first few months (luckly i <had really thick hair to start

with). the hair loss has pretty much leveled out now, however my hair is

literally half as thick as it once was.
