Guest guest
Dear Uncle Fuzzy We haven't " met " properly before - so hello to you! This is Francesca from the UK. I hope you don't mind me bugging you but I seem to remember you made a post about some articles coming out that question whether ferritin (is that the same as iron?) levels are a definitive positive for Still's Disease. I have an important appointment next week where some decisions will be made about my treatment. One thing is upping the MTX to see if we can't break through into the remission barrier. However, my iron levels, having been very dangerously high for two years have suddenly come down to something that for us resembles " normal. " Why? We have absolutely no idea! I am terrible with Yahoo and can't access the articles I think you may have put there (I got very confused with passwords and so on and can't access the Foundation group account, only receive emails). I wonder if there is another way I could get hold of that information to take with me to my appointment. My rheumy is superb and really welcomes input from my side, and I think he would be really interested in this. If you, or anyone else, can help me out with this, I would be really, really grateful. Thank you all and wishing friends on t'other side of the pond a good day when you wake! Francesca
