Guest guest
Dear Imogene- Even when you aren't writing here in the group you and Don are still in our thoughts and prayers. Continue to take care of yourself. Many heartfelt hugs- Sandie and -- I'm back Hi friends, I have just dropped in to give you a big hello. My big beautiful man is shrinking in size. He had shrunk from 6' 2 1/2 " to what? Bent over and certainly shorter. He was near two hundred pounds and had gone down to one hundred sixty. After a very bad stomach virus, that he was in intensive care and finally telemetry, because all of his vomiting had aggravated his heart, he has slipped back a couple of notches with LBD. He can't use the remote control, the micro wave, or the dishwasher. The buttons all confuse him. He is still lovable and sweet. But, easily gets frustrated when he can't do things right. He took care of the trash this morning, by bundling it up nice and neat and taping it with packaging tape. (I didn't say a word, I just let him tape) Then he put it back in the bag I had in the waste basket, I asked him if he would throw that bag of trash in the receptacle? I told him I needed the waste basket in the kitchen. He looked very confused, so he turned and threw the trash into the store room. I went out and put it in the trash receptacle. Poor baby. He tries so hard. And tires easily, and tends to sleep a lot more than he used to. But, we are still kicking, only not as high as we used to. Love a bunch, Imogene
