Thank you to everyone on this board past and present who have helped me on the

LBD journey I have travelled with my mother the past 4 and a half years.

Your messages of condolence have given me comfort. I know so many of you are

still going down that path and I wish your LO the peaceful end that my mom was

lucky to have had.

The funeral is now over. It was the best send off I could give my mom and I

know that she would tell me she was proud of me if she could. She looked

beautiful in her fancy dress and earrings with her hair all done in curls. She

held her baby in her arms and will continue to keep her by her side for

eternity. Boy, wont dad be surprised!!

The music was perfect and my eulogy caused lots of weeping but everyone said I

did a great job. I honoured my mom in life and in death. I brought two of the

flower arrangements that were sent back to my house, so it smells like a florist

shop. They were beautiful displays from my best friend and from the people I

work with, so they were special that way too. The rest were going to go to True

ion Acres where mom lived for the past year and a half so others can enjoy

the beauty. I know my mom would want that.

Thank you to everyone who sent emails, and especially Carol who phoned me from

Florida. I was overwhelmed to see Courage at the visitation and she gave me

hugs from everyone from the LBD board. I truly felt support from all over the

world...

I am going to the trailer today for a few days of relaxation and rest. The

rest will wait for me as it always has.
