Guest guest
Congratulations Cola! You are doing fantastic! I get most of my water in during my workout too (32 to 48 ounces). I am so happy for you. And to think, you only drank one cola all day ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Keep up the good work. You are turning the tide on this water issue! update on me hi everyone! well i hit 30 workouts in my mighty 100!! counting workouts has really been helping me.... it is nice to know where i stand in relation to my goal date. last week was a bit hard... i only worked out 4 days, but they were challenging and lengthy workouts, so im trying not to get down on myself for not reaching my weekly goal of 6 workouts. will try again this week... although i did a really easy workout yesterday to start the week. i think that im burning out near the end of the week so i thought that id start out easy this week and see what happens. the good news is that today i drank 2 quarts/64 ounces of water!!! and i only had one can of coca-cola!! i broke down and drank that one can because i had a pounding headache...ugh! anyway, what is helping me to drink more water is having a bigger water bottle... duh! lol. i was using a small 20 ounce bottle and was finishing it while i was working out and that was it. now with a 32 ounce bottle, i drink all of that while working out. and i was proud of myself for refilling it after lunch. rubbermaid makes a good water bottle that has the measurements on the side... very helpful. so 64 ounces per day is my goal for this week. also, eating has been good... i have conquered breakfast and lunch and afternoon snack.. have been doing very well with those... now i need to work on improving my suppers... they are BAD! lol. always a new goal to work towards! *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free with AVG. Guest guest
Congrats! I am also on my way (only started 10 days ago) to 100 workouts with Tae Bo. I have started with TaeBo 2 instructional and did it for 2 days then I did 1 day of Getting started and now I am doing Tae Bo Basic(original) for last 7 days. I am thinking of doing it everyday unless my legs quit on me. Good luck to you on the trip to 100 workouts. Padma.

Guest guest
Hi everyone, it's been a while. Finally got back on Kineret after a flu scare (doc made me stop the Kineret during a 3 wk period), so hoping to feel a bit better soon. During that time my labs were getting out of whack again, so hopefully that will take care of it. Still having the joint pain but my rash has calmed down a lot. My husband is doing some better, hasn't been in the hospital since Nov (thank God) and he was finally approved for disability. But last week his doc told us that he is pretty sure, from some lab work they've done, that the cancer is also in his thyroid. We are waiting for some more tests to confirm & see if it will need to be removed. The last year has been stressful as he was in the hospital 12 times (actual admissions) and we had to make a trip to LSU (about 800 miles away!) to see a specialist there. Meantime, I admit, I have been putting myself on the back burner. He has been unable to drive, so that leaves me to run around. But, we are making it through. And now my aunt, who is only 45 yrs old, is very sick with rectal cancer. she is in the hospital but the docs hope she will bounce back. So I am shocked that I am not worse, since it's been my experience with Still's that stress aggravates it. So I am thankful that I can get up in the morning (even tho I move like I am 100!) and that I can still do what needs to be done. Thinking of you all, welcome the new members and hopefully I will be able to keep in touch more often. Love to all, Gail (KY)
Guest guest
Gail, Welcome home, it's good to see you again. I do hope you get a medication combo that helps. You've been through hell it sounds and need the care and something that will help. I'm glad your husband seems to be stable from what you are saying and dearly hope it hasn't moved into his thyroid. We continue our prayers for you and yours and please know you are never forgotten. Thank you for writing to let us know how you're getting along. We've missed you! Many hugs and be good to yourself. P.S. I'm very sorry to read of your Aunt. This must be just very hard to deal with as well.
