RE: chiari doctor refused to see my daughter

I have had one of the Chiari doctors on the Chiari specialist  list refuse to

see my daughter. I sent all of her records to  him and his nurse called me back

and told me that he would not see my daughter and would not give me an

explanation why, so just wanted to let you know that it does happen even with

the Chiari specialist doctors.

, I am sorry this has happened.  Others I know have had the same

expereince, when the doctor doesn't feel he/she can help.  The real problem is

the not giving an explanation.  I hope you find someone to help your

I'm also sorry that this hapenned to you...I do know of a Chiari specialist that

will not see children that have been previously operated on by other

neurosurgeons... Was this the case with your daughter?

Thank you, I think too it is because they dont think they can help, but they

should let you know why they wont see you, with this condition as everybody

knows, they go

through so much as it is

and you feel like your getting the cold shoulder and it is really sad to be so

sick and being in this postion.  

 

I believe that our medical care system has gotten so bad and the cost has liked

tripled or more in the past years, its like most of them dont care, or they

want to blame the condition on the patient. I can go on and on about the

nightmares stories that

 My daughter and I have been through with the medical community, and I know we

arent the only ones that these things have happen to cause I have talk to other

people that have went through the same things, its like the normal now and it is

really scary to see our medical community go in this direction.

 

Sadly  my

 daughter has

 gotten where she would rather die than go

 to the emergency room and I bet she isnt the only sick person that feels that

way.

I know that some of them are not allowed by the hospital to do children. Don't

know how old your daughter is.... I know my surgeon is not allowed to do

children because of the hospital regulations. Cortney
