Guest guest
Hi All, Was thinking out loud about how many of us have to go out and buy many living/caregiving aids to help our lo's - canes, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, etc, etc. If I had a huge space or lots of money I'd like to set up a chariatiable(hot dog, can't spell today!) company that gets these items to people free of charge. As we go along in our journey with our parents I have made a point of finding someone at the NH who isn't able to buy all the latest toys and give them mom and dad's items. I know that some charities give stuff away too but what happens to all the rest of the stuff? With the aged population of North America expected to explode over the next 20 years I'm surprized that someone hasn't done this already? Oh well, dreams are nice.
