Lena..

I am at work and can't go into detail now, but I had one that was huge, and

it has taken me 8 months, and it is now the size of a pea, and I am still

working on it.. If I don't get back to you in a couple of days, please

remind me, as I am more than willing to help you, but am just really busy at

work..I will not have surgery, as have had surgery on it twice in the past

years and it returned.

Hi Everyone,

I've had ganglion cysts before, on the back of wrist, and at the base

of a finger or two on the palm. They went away on their own. I've read

go away on their own.

This new one just sprouted on the base of my thumb: hard, the size of

a pea, pretty painful, and very much in the way of normal functioning.

Any suggestions as to how to encourage it to leave quickly?

I'm doing Reiki, mag oil, Brook's mix, and trying not to abuse it.

These remedies have improved circulation, so now the discomfort has

spread out into a general ache in the a.m., and the heavy rain and low-

pressure weather here isn't helping.

Just made a mix of ', ibuprofen, and cayenne to see if that

helps. (made that for my fading tendonitis; if it isn't one thing,

it's another!)

Would a castor oil pack do anything? I'd really like to avoid a

medical encounter if possible. I read that hitting it (the bible bump)

is a bad and possibly damaging idea.) Normally, I'd just apply

patience, but it's interfering with much that I need to do before we

get on the road.

Thanks for any wisdom,

Be well,

Léna

Thanks Teddyberen,

I'll remind you for sure! Appreciate anything you can suggest.

Meanwhile, the ', ibuprofen and cayenne has reduced the ache a

bit.

I don't know but I've read that iodine works quite well for them over a

period of a month or more. Maybe DMSO and iodine together would.

With the iodine you paint it on the skin where the cyst is.

for me, so I did not combine the two. It only took two weeks of once

It's pretty cool - I was reading

last night in the book " DMSO Nature's Healer " about how it neutralizes

hydroxyl radicals which can damage synovial fluid and cartilage. Since

the ganglion cyst is a problem of weakened cartilage causing a bubble of

synovial fluid, it does make sense that it would help, but I've been

told there's no known permanent cure for them and that even surgical

procedures are often temporary, so a painless way to get rid of it is

wonderful!

Hi Saralou, (RoseOtto)

Thanks! I'll add some Lugol's to my magic roll-on and see if that

helps! And maybe add a bit more DMSO, too. DMSO sure does amazing

things. It's kind of drying, so I'll alternate with Tea Tree and some

other therapeutic oil and see what happens. Meanwhile, I've wrapped it

to slow its use down a bit, to keep from aggravating it while working.

I think Lyme critters often weaken cartilage by burrowing through it.

I've got some shark-cartilage on order to see if that can help rebuild.

I really appreciate your list search. thanks a lot!

Lena,

I said it before and I'll say it again, straight DMSO cured mine in a very short

time. I wasn't expecting it to do so, was using it for something else, and it

was a nice perk. I later found out that it is a little-known treatment for

ganglion cysts that works quite well.

Renate

Hi Renate,

DMSO is the delivery system of everything else I'm trying. This thing
