Hello,

When I was given the diagnoses of remission a few years ago, my doctor told me

it was because my labs had been normal for a long period of time, I had no

morning stiffness, no active inflammation, no daily fevers and by that time the

only arthritis medication I had taken for years was Naprosin. I now take

Celebrex but will probably always have to take an anti-inflammatory because of

the advanced arthritis I have in many areas of my body. This is just my

experience with my doctor but he has seen me for over 30 years now since onset.

Hope this helps, and you will see remission too.
