I am very glad to hear you not seeing that doctor again. That is very true, she could have died. Kayla was getting very dehydrated and he made me force her to take I believe 5 cc's every 10 min. For over 5 hrs. And to top this off he called me twice to check on her and it was in the middle of the night. Please Please don't endanger yourselves again with a monster that has no feelings. I hate to sound rude or mean, but KK's first doc was the same way. We can't afford to let our kids be treated like that. I know we need to face that they aren't " normal " , but they are only kids. Most of who can't talk so we need to be aware of the body signs. I congratulate you for noticing the blue in her. Your a great mom! Hope things get better. Praying for a speedy recovery. Sounds like it is time to " discard " that doc and move on-we've been there a few times-seems like those with whom our kids lives are at risk also score low on compassion-our kids seem inconvenient to THEM! It's bad enough that Jillian was so sick but to have this, so-called, man of medicine, laugh at you then brush you aside, well..... I'd be doing just what Casey suggested, file that complaint!!! All this, after you thought all the c**p was sorted out! Bad day indeed. Must be having a spate of them!!! He doesn't deserve to practice medicine. I'd give the little lady receptionist a call as well, and to top it off, I'd fire off a little letter to the newspaper's editorial page <If you have this in your area> about the wonderful caring doctor's office that is.
