Guest guest
Thank you, Courage, for passing along your time spent with Kath. Sounds like it was a true celebration of life. Glad to hear there wasn't a straight jacket waiting for you...they may come up at Gunthers though...we shall find out someday. Hugs to you- Sandie and Des Moines, IA -- Kath's mom Hi All, Just got back from Kath's mom's visitation and it was lovely - exactly what these things should be all about in my opinion - sharing memories, some laughs and those tough moments. Kath and her family did a lovely job of placing pictures around the room and even had a powerpoint show on a TV screen of Maggie's life which was wonderful because you really got a sense of the fun loving woman Maggie was. Kath also made available a lovely memorial booklet with inspirational stories and I read them on my way back home on the subway and had tears running - surprized they didn't have a white straight jacket waiting for me when I left the subway. The story that really did me in was " If Tomorrow Starts Without Me " . The clincher for me was seeing Maggie clutching her doll who will be buried with her. I had tears in my eyes because my mom also loved her dolls. I was sure to pass on everyone's love and support. Courage
